The New England Patriots equaled their best victory streak since the Tom Brady era as they beat AFC East rivals the New York Jets 27-14 in professional football

The Jets had scored first at their home field with quarterback Justin Fields rushing for a short rushing score to cap the Jets' first possession

But the New England fought back in the second quarter as Henderson scored two seven-yard touchdowns before the running back hauled in a throw from Maye at the back of the end zone in the middle of the third period to extend the lead to 21 to 7

"That was a big time for him stepping up, and it's been fantastic for him to keep gaining experience," Maye commented on Henderson. "He desires to be outstanding."

Fields threw to John Metchie late in the third quarter to narrow the deficit for the visitors but Borregales booted a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter as the Patriots wrapped up the triumph
