Trevoh Chalobah followed his sibling Nathaniel in representing England, emerging as the 21st pair of siblings to play for the England side.
Trevoh Chalobah is expected to link up with the Three Lions selection to replace injured Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi.
The 26-year-old is set to meet up with the squad for England's remaining World Cup qualifying matches against Albania and Serbia, but it has not yet been confirmed.
The national side have already booked their place for next summer's competition.
Chalobah was given his maiden selection under England head coach Thomas Tuchel in the month of May and then played his first game against Senegal.
In the month of September, Tuchel said Chalobah was unlucky to be omitted from the squad for qualifying games against Andorra and Serbia, and also did not select him for the following October fixtures.
Tuchel has been an significant figure in Chalobah's career, having given him his Chelsea first-team bow in the year 2021.
Chalobah has featured in all but four fixtures for Chelsea in the current campaign, with the club in third place in the Premier League, in the EFL Cup last eight and in the league phase of the Champions League.
Guehi sustained a foot problem in Crystal Palace's Europa Conference League win over the Dutch side last week.
There are expected to be further additions to the squad. Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe has said that both attacker Anthony Gordon (hip) and shot-stopper Nick Pope (a concussion) are set to pull out from the England setup.
